The project studies how civil society practices are affected by algorithmic automation in terms of possibilities and hindrances for political deliberation on and around digital platforms. The project is lead by Simon Lindgren, Professor of Sociology and director of DIGSUM, an interdisciplinary academic research centre for the study of social dimensions of digital technology at Umeå University.
