Vi menar att antagandet vilar p\u00e5 en vag och outvecklad id\u00e9 om politisk j\u00e4mlikhet. Det h\u00e4r projektet \u00e4mnar studera fr\u00e5gan om hur civilsamh\u00e4llet kan och b\u00f6r inkluderas i deliberativa praktiker s\u00e5 att kravet p\u00e5 politisk j\u00e4mlikhet tillgodoses. \u00a0Fr\u00e5gan kommer att besvaras genom fem delstudier. Tv\u00e5 av studierna \u00e4r teoretiska till sin natur och unders\u00f6ker de begreppsliga villkoren och normativa kriterierna f\u00f6r politisk j\u00e4mlikhet i civilsamh\u00e4llets engagemang i deliberativa praktiker. De tre ytterligare studierna \u00e4r till \u00f6verv\u00e4gande del empiriska och utf\u00f6rs inom den teoretiska ramen. Vi kommer bland annat att unders\u00f6ka medborgares vilja och kapacitet att delta i deliberativa dialoger samt i vilket utstr\u00e4ckning den \u00f6kade anv\u00e4ndningen av n\u00e4tverksstyrning i policy-making uppfyller basala krav p\u00e5 politisk j\u00e4mlikhet.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Project description<\/strong><br \/>\nIn the political and academic debates alike it is often assumed that increased engagement from civil society in deliberative practices strengthens democratic institutions. We believe that this assumption rests on a vague and underdeveloped notion of political equality. This project sets out to explore the question of how civil society may be included in deliberative dialogues and practices in ways that satisfy a requirement of political equality. It will be responded to through five studies. Two of the studies are theoretical in nature, exploring the conceptual conditions and normative criteria of political equality in civic and deliberative engagement. Three studies are mainly empirical and draw on the worked out theoretical framework.
